2021
CHAMPION: TEAM VANSCOVICH
Although not as eventful as the 2020 COVID season, 2021 provided some great moments and memorable games. As part of the second OBAU season and fifth year overall, Team King fell to Team Vanscovich in the championship after both teams received the #1 and 2 seeds, respectively. The Finals were originally supposed to be 3 games, but conflicts arose allowing a Scovi/Delaney led Team Vanscovich to win their first ever ring just after one Finals game. Zack received his well-deserved 1st ring, fulfilling the meteoric rise from 7th round draft pick to OBA World Champion. He now joins Jacob Fails (1x) and Dylan DeMarco (3x) as the only captains to win at least one coveted ring. No team picture

2022
Champion: Team King?
In the 6th year of OBA, it was a league decision to drop the captain list to 5 after Seany Durant stepped down due to limited availability and less numbers in the league. We saw a rise in competition with 5 teams and also added more new members into the league like first round pick Joe O'Malley and big man Aaron Parker. After an unforgettable playoff series between Demarco and Vanscovich that went 3 games with Vanscovich coming out on top, Vanscovich was looking to join Dylan Demarco as the only captain to win back-to-back championships. Team King took care of business in 3 games as well against a beat-up Team Covert squad after Covert defeated Team Miller in the first ever OBA Play-in Game. King and Vanscovich were set for a Championship rematch. Vanscovich took game 1 and then King won game 2 to force a 3rd. Game 3 had 5 minutes remaining with Team King leading by 3. Shortly after Joe O'Malley hit back-to-back threes to take the lead, there was a torrential downpour, and the game became rained out. The game was then never finished. King and Vanscovich tried to get it set up but unfortunately kids had to go back to school. So, who is the champion? Some would say Team King, but it depends on who you ask. (no team picture for obvious reasons)

CHampion: Team Demarco
In the 7th year of oba and the first year that games were not played at Oakbourne Park, the trio of Dylan Demarco, Ben Delaney, and Gus Bus dominated the league and Demarco breezed his way to his 4th World Championship. The 5-team format remained and after cutting the regular season 1 game short, we had our 2nd ever OBA Play-in game. For the 2nd year in a row Team Covert defeated Team Miller thanks to a Drew Hickson buzzer beater. Team Demarco prevailed over Team Covert and advanced to the championship. Team Vanscovich played Team King due to weather circumstances had to play in the green courts and Team King came out on top. Team Demarco's chemistry was unmatched and too much for Team King to handle. It seemed throughout the entire season that when one player had a poor game the other two would pick up the slack for Team Demarco. Ben Delaney proved that he is the best player in the league as it was the 3rd year in a row he was in the championship, acquiring his 2nd ring. Dylan joined Ethan Purvis as the only OBA players to have 4 rings. Pure greatness. No team picture due to lack of execution.
