Quincy M. McLovin is a self proclaimed power rankings guru that works for the OBA to evaluate every team week by week. He not only looks at the stats on paper, but truly evaluates them by watching how they play. His title allows him to partake in other insider roles, but with Mr. Cox being such a beast Quincy doesn't need to do much.

Team Miller quite obviously sits atop the power rankings, they have beaten everybody once to sit in first place at 5-0. Team Demarco took their second straight L but remain number 2 in the power rankings, they're the only other team besides Miller with a positive point differential. Team Durant rises up to number 2 after winning two straight and moving into 3rd place in the standings, when they have their main core they are a tough team to beat. Team Fails

1. Miller (No change)
2. Demarco (No change)
3. King (No change)
4. Fails (Up 1)
5. Durant (Down 1)
6. Covert (No change)
Team Miller sitting in first at 4-0 is the only undefeated team remaining in the OBA. Jack Batchelor is just dominating inside averaging 4.8 blocks with 20.3 rebounds and is surrounded by a solid contributing cast of captain Brendan Miller, All Star Charlie Reinheimer, Vinny Demarco, and Brett D'Ambrosio. Team Demarco remains number 2 despite suffering their first loss of the season, they play great team basketball with an offense and defense that complement each other very well, putting together a +34 point differential. 2-2 Team King is much better than their record says so, they have the potential to win the championship. Team Fails picked up their first win of the season, expect them to be on the rise. Team Durant showed bright spots in their last game against Team Demarco in week 3 with rookie Collin Hurley scoring 15 with 3 threes. However, without MVP candidate Luke Digiacobbe they will struggle to be in the win column. Wrapping up the final spot is a familiar face to last place, Team Covert. Covert is still winless but has plenty of potential to make late season run.

2. Demarco (No change)
3. King (Up 3)
4. Durant (Down 3)
5. Fails (Down 1)
6. Covert (Down 1)
Team Miller rises to the top spot after handily beating former number 1 Team Durant. Vinny Demarco shined in his debut putting up a double-double. Despite a slow second half Demarco held on for the victory over Covert. Team King picks up their first win of the season over Team Fails. The final 3 teams all took losses over the weekend.
Week 1 Power Rankings
1. Durant (Up 3)
2. Demarco (Up 1)
3. Miller (Down 1)
4. Fails (Down 3)
5. Covert
6. King
Team Durant takes top spot after a phenomenal offensive performance by Luke Digiacobbe (51 points) and a great team defensive performance. The three low players in their zone: Durant, Walsh, and Strasinski dominated boards and steals. Team Demarco started off slow as they only lead 16-14 at half, but Dylan absolutely dominated the second half to pull the team away. Expect him to continue to dominate throughout the season. Team Miller moves down 1 but that's only because of the increasing dominance that Durant and Demarco showed. That being said, Miller also showed dominance as Jack Batchelor put up the first 20-20 game in OBA history. If he stays at that level of play teams will struggle to consistently score in the paint. Fails moves down 3 spots from no. 1 to no. 4 but I expect to see them back on the rise before you know it. Of the 5 players they played with, only 3 were actually on the roster and they didn't even have Captain, Jacob Fails. Team Covert and Team King remain in the same. Team Covert had two players with double-doubles (Moran and Vanscovich) but as a team they only shot 33%. When Team King gets back Captain, Owen King back in the starting lineup that should open things up for Pat Quinn who often saw 3 defenders as Team Demarco were not worried about guarding Andrew Pechin, Ben Watson, Joe Runzer, and Tommy Powers who shot a combined 4 for 31.
Post Draft Power Rankings
1. Fails
2. Miller
3. Demarco
4. Durant
5. Covert
6. King
First off, there is very little separation between 1 and 6. Also you must remember this all means nothing right now, its all talk until opening day when you can see who is forreal. Fails remains at the number 1 spot and rightfully so since he has MVP Sean Hopkins. And if Hopkins and Fails wasn't a big enough duo Jacob also drafted husky buhls RJ Cleveland, Spencer Piercey, and Joe Craig... oh and they have returning 6th man of the year Kyle Burton. Despite a rough spot in the draft order Brendan Miller absolutely made the most of it. Team Miller has the top 3 players in 3 pointers made from 2017 (Brendan Miller (8), Charlie Reinheimer (7), and Brett D'Ambrosio (7)), down low support will come from two 6 footers in Jack Batchelor and David Carney. Team Demarco obviously features MVP candidate Dylan Demarco, surrounding him is 3 point specialist Drew Hickson, Rookie of the year candidate Zack Jones, defensive star Jake Wilsey and QB1 Will Pileggi. Team Durant is headlined by no.3 overall pick Luke Digiacobbe who will likely carry the offense, surrounding him is Captain and All Star Sean Durant, Ian Strasinski and Zach Boughter who can dominate boards, finally a trio of explosive athletes in Collin Hurley, Owen Walsh, and Mike Burke. Team Covert comes in a 5, Superstar Colin Moran will be looking to claim MVP after taking 3rd last year, he will have help from to great scorers in Michael Covert who excels at scoring in the paint and shooter Zack Vanscovich. If that's not enough there's also Lucas Christie, Matt Owens, Ty "The Rock" Kaliner, and the one, the only, Greek Freak. Finally rounding it out at 6 is Team King. Pat Quinn and Owen King reunite in what they hope can be another championship run, they've added former captain Ben Watson, last years rookie of the year, Pete Halladay, 2017 champion Alex Hutsell, and Tommy Powers.

4. King
5. Demarco
6. Miller
Fails starts himself off in a great position once again having the first overall pick. Following that is the exact order of Covert, Durant, and King. Covert is salivating over Colin Moran who took 3rd in the MVP race in 2017. Durant and King are in good spots to get an elite player in the first round and still get another high quality player in the second with the quick turnaround. Demarco hops over Miller to be at 5 thanks to his individual talent advantage over him and his ability to have back to back picks to start the draft.
